No fixed number of crowns is correct for every smile makeover.

When patients search for zirconia crowns in Turkey, they often see treatments advertised as 20, 24 or 28-tooth packages. These numbers can be useful for understanding approximate cost, but they should not determine the diagnosis.

Do They Shave Your Teeth Down for Zirconia Crowns?

If the pulp is healthy and the tooth can be prepared safely, the tooth may remain vital underneath the final crown.

Root canal treatment may instead be necessary when there is existing pulp inflammation, infection, previous deep decay, trauma or another clinical reason.

In some cases, a tooth that initially remains vital can develop symptoms later and may subsequently require root canal treatment. This biological risk exists with crown treatment and should be discussed before treatment.
